Research Project: Molecular engineering and preclinical development of VLP-Cas13 programmable antivirals (Singsuksawat et al. (2021) Potent programmable antiviral against dengue virus in primary human cells by Cas13b RNP with short spacer and delivery by virus-like particle. Mol Ther Methods Clin Dev. 21:729- 740.)
Qualifications:
1. Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Virology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Immunology, or Molecular Pharmacology
2. Teamwork capability and basic management skills
3. Strong communication skills (both in Thai and English)
4. Laboratory skills in cell culture and flow cytometry
5. Biosafety training
The selected candidate will be a member of Biodesign and Biomolecular Engineering Research Team (IFRT) of BIOTEC, NSTDA and will be a part of NSTDA postdoctoral program.
Start date: The selected candidate is expected to start the work in May or June 2022.
